The investment round was led by NordicNinja and DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF). Existing investors MMC Ventures, Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures (DvH Ventures), Helen Ventures, Matterwave, Motu Ventures, Segenia Capital, Hannover Digital Investments and others also participated in the round.

Airbus Defense and Space will take a charge of nearly one billion dollars because of poor cost and schedule performance on a variety of satellite programs, and will evaluate strategic options for its space business.
The company announced after markets closed in Europe June 24 that it was revising its guidance for 2024 because of both issues with space programs as well as a reduction in commercial aircraft deliveries. That included a charge of 900 million euros ($965 million) the company will record in the second quarter on its Space Systems business.

Terran Orbital must raise its share price again to maintain its listing on the New York Stock Exchange. The company said in a news release on Friday that it received notice from the NYSE that it is not in compliance with NYSE rules after its stock has traded below $1 per share for a month.

ispace technologies U.S., Inc. (ispace-U.S.) and Swedish Space Corporation have signed a collaboration agreement for ispace-U.S.’s upcoming Mission 3 with the APEX 1.0 lunar lander. SSC will provide critical communication links to the mission through its advanced SSC Connect lunar ground station network capabilities.

SkyFi Announces Partnership with GalaxEye Space to Integrate Multi Sensor Imagery
GalaxEye's technology equips satellites with both Synthetic Aperture Radar (X-band) and Optical/Multispectral Imaging (MSI) capabilities. This approach allows simultaneous collection of diverse data sets, providing insights regardless of weather conditions. Their maiden satellite launch is scheduled for Q3 2024, which will feature a 2-meter resolution

SpaceX successfully launched the Starlink 10-2 mission on its Falcon 9 rocket Sunday afternoon after it was scrubbed a second before the countdown clock last week.

SpaceX completed another double launch day with a West Coast launch of 20 Starlink V2 Mini satellites, including 13 featuring Direct to Cell capabilities.
Liftoff of the Starlink 9-2 mission happened at 8:47 p.m. PDT (11:47 p.m. EDT, 0347 UTC). It came following the launch of 22 Starlink satellites from Florida at 1:15 p.m. EDT (1715 UTC) on Sunday.

Comcast Business signed a deal with SpaceX to provide for Starlink connectivity to its enterprise customers. The collaboration announced June 21 brings satellites to the Comcast Business managed connectivity portfolio. 
Comcast said this will bring Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology to enhance network redundancy and provide connectivity for enterprises in remote areas. Comcast’s managed connectivity portfolio offers broadband, ethernet, and cellular business tools for enterprise customers.

The Chang’e-6 return capsule reentered Earth’s atmosphere early Tuesday, safely delivering unique lunar material expected to provide unique insights into the evolution of the moon. 
The roughly 300-kilogram Chang’e-6 reentry capsule separated from the mission service module 5,000 kilometers away from Earth. The capsule then skipped off the atmosphere over the Atlantic Ocean at 1:41 a.m. Eastern (0541 UTC) June 25 to decelerate, before making a final descent.
The reentry capsule—containing around 2 kilograms of lunar material drilled and scooped from Apollo crater on the far side of the moon—landed in the grasslands of Siziwang Banner, Inner Mongolia at around 2:07 a.m. Teams recovered the capsule shortly after.

Pixxel has inked a deal with the Ministry of Defence under the Innovations for Defense Excellence (iDEX) scheme to manufacture miniaturised multi-payload satellites for the Indian Air Force.
Pixxel’s miniaturised satellite will be capable of carrying electro-optical, infrared, synthetic aperture radar, and hyperspectral payloads of up to 150 kgs, the ministry said in a statement.
